Possible co-ordination problems?
Hiya,
I bought a 3 month old leopard gecko last week. Since getting her she has been very timid but I guess that's just her individual temperament! My main concern however is that (on the few occasions where I have managed to see her eat) she regularly misses her food and has to have a second or third attempt at catching it. Is this something I need to worry about? I'm currently feeding her locusts. I tried her with mealworms but she wasn't interested. And she's had 2 wax worms which she caught and munched no problem! (I do know not to feed these regularly, I just wanted to see whether she'd accept them). She's currently in a large flat Exo Terra faunarium with kitchen roll substrate. I've got a viv for her but don't want to move her over till I've got this sorted as it's a lot easier to keep an eye on her in there! Thanks for any help, Jo x

most leos are a crap shot dont worry she will nail them in the end

As Suez has already pointed out, many leos are less than skilled in the hunting department (a couple of mine included), so unless the littlun is exhibiting any other problems that give cause for concern, I really wouldn't worry about it.

ours are the same its so funny watching them keep missing the same locust over and over lol. Our big boy spike can take upto 20mins to finally nail one locust, but ya gotta love em!
