sexing my baby beardies....

I have 2 baby beardies about a month old in 1 cage!! how could i tell what bsex they are appart from looking at the underside cus they are 2 young!! could arm waving tell us somthing?? or somthing else?

both male and females arm wave when they are small so i wouldnt use that as a guide.wait untill they are at least 10-12 weeks then sex them properly.

weeminx????i thought you couldn`t sex properly until beardies were around 6 months?my 2 look exactly the same underneath and are 4 months old,i thought i would have to wait another couple of months to tell there sex proper?i think they are both females at the minute???if they are looking like females now does that mean they are females and i dont need to wait longer to find out for deffo?

if you have a good eye they can be sexed at 10-12 weeks i successfully sexed loads of beardies at 11 weeks. you should defo be able to tell at 4 months what sex they are.dont sex them by the pores mistakes can be made his way.get the beardies in some really good light and hold your beardies in the palm of your hand and lift the tail you should at 4 months see the single or double hemepene lump/lumps.my youngest is 4 months now and i can very easily see her sex.

if you are still unsure at this stage then of course re check them in a few weeks.

I am stil useless at sexing my wee beardie and he is 6 months... but other people have also told me this particular beardie is tough to sex... not sure why... I think he is male we shall see LOL

i have sexed them as said on here and by looking at pictures on here and they deffo look like 2 wee girlies,i`m cool with that.thanks again for the help!!

tough to sex? lol sounds a bit weird.at 6 months you should defo be able to tell.like i said b4 good light and a good eye and you should be able to see.

I think my red 1 is male and my normal is a female because i can see that there undersides are different if that helps...
