As you probably know they eat their shed skin, which is why you wont see it very often

not wanting to thread steal.. but is there any general rule on how often cresties shed? my baby is growing fast yet has never shown any signs of being in or near shed... and with all the research i did i still found pretty much no infomation on cresties shedding!!

with snakes theres info on it everywhere, with lizards there apears to be none except "they shed then they eat it"

On average an adult will shed every 1-2 months, youngsters will shed more frequently, depending on how quickly they are growing.
