also posted in habitat forum but answer will be quicker in here...

can they be put in a 50Litre tub? with lots to do and hiding places? or are they like corns and live better in small spaces? thanks in advance

ive used this dust before but now i just stick to nutrobal, has all the basics and they have a calc dish if they want extra. all crix are fed calc:phosphorus diet so they have a complex diet of everything they need

i replied in ur other thread....

They Tend to hide and sleep in tight crevasis. Just give em lots of cork bark, they love the stuff.

personally, i would avoid larger containers for babies.

They seem to do better in smaller tubs for the first 4 weeks then slightly bigger ones for a while.

I know lots of breeders just bung em all together, but I dont like that as its harder to spot problems, keep propper records and they tend to nip each other.

Also, they could get stressed in such a big area, so lots of hides would be needed as already mentioned.

I find my babies do a lot better in a smaller tub, I use 5L RUB's for mine.

opk great cheers, do you move them into bigger ones when they weigh a certain weight, or when they reach a length?
