Default Orange discharge from bearded dragon

Hi,

Can anyone help with this one? My son has two bearded dragons around three years old, we think one male and female. Both have become very lethalgic over the last week and not too interested in their food. My son thought they are getting ready for the form of hibernation they go into.

However, when I looked into the viv this morning, there was a small sticky, orange mass (looks a bit like yolk and white mixed together, but no shell). Not sure which lizard (or which end!) this came from. Would appreciate any advice folk could give on this .

Many thanks

Mambo

could be urate (reptile urine)
i dont think its anything to worry about if you can take a picture of the sticky mass that will help tell what it is.but it does sound like runny urate

Like weeminx said, post a pic if you can.
Whats the temps like in the viv? Basking spot, warm end and cool end.
And the temps over night.

Thumbs up

Many thanks for your advice,

Both Lizards now seem a bit livelier. I'll try to get photographs and temperature readings

Best
