Default collared brumation

My male collared has slowed down quite a bit due to the weather. He basks still, sometimes runs and jumps and climbs etc so am sure it is due to the weather.
Although I havent seen him eat in quite a while now and am getting worried about him. I was thinking about trying to up the temps for him a bit?
I had to put him on top a beardie viv for a day or so and he perked up quite a bit, became more active etc and I think this was down to the extra heat coming through from the beardie.
What do you think? Im still offering crickets and mealies, from what I can tell there is no interest. Although when I see him running around he does taste the wood now and again.
He is approx 11-12 months old. Surely if he is going to be doing this 'til its warmer and lighter again he will starve?!
Any advice please?

I wouldn't worry about him too much Catherine. What are your temps?
You could try offering him some locusts but be warned...once they have them they seldom go back to crix lol
Is he looking ok weight wise e.g. nice plump tail and back legs??

The temps are at high 90s - 100f in basking spot. I cant lower the bulb so was going to try a higher wattage so when he comes out to bask he warms up quicker. What do you think?

Ill get a pic of him when I see him out to see what you think of his weight. I can see he has a lost a little but dont know if its OK.
