Default help with leopard gecko pip squeek

noticed yesterday that pip squeek seem to have an unusual bulge on her right side, weve had her for 3 months and had no problems. she did have dirty botty last fri/sat where she didnt seem to have managed to remove urine sucessfully so i just brushed it off. now the bulge has grown in last 12 hours, im really worried that she is impacted some how, is she way to young at 5/6 months for eggs ? she has a regrown tail so difficult to judge proper size and age . she is walking around tank but now looks like a pregnant chamelion all belly and legs. is there anything i could do if she is impacted help please!

I agree with Diablo. Get it to a Vet ASAP that does look like it could be impaction. Looks similar to my cousins before her took it to a vet

Default pip squeek

unfortunatley Pip Squeek past late this evening, or early depending on your point of view. she died of impaction. she was not on calci sand but recomended rep sand from my local and well versed and trusted supplier. he is just as guttted as we are. we only put all new colour sand in yesterday to 3 viv's and have taken it all out. as it is evident that our other geckos have eaten it to. !! they all have a steady supply of calcium so we are baffald. pip was given olive oil and 15 min luke warm baths and tummy rubs to no avail. to anyone that thinks it cant happen to them !! think again. ive been keeping herps for 19 years and have never come across this and i encourage people to keep them( theyr'e reps ) on a natural substrate. now i have to re -think my whole ethos. hopes this helps in the future so you don't go through what we are now.
