feed locusts to reps every 3 days or just throw some veg in for the locusts every 3 days?

to what? leos, chams, beardies, a toaster?
adult leos don't need feeding everyday and adult beardies (as far as i know) don't need feeding live food everyday but would probably say every other day for livefood rather than every 3 days.

If it's an adult over 2 years old then that is about right if you give it a fair few on the days where you do feed it livefood. Make sure that it has a lot of varied greens on the other days though.
If it's still a baby it needs livefood twice a day; if its a juvenile (4-18 months) then livefood once a day.
