Horrific - and I thought Damien Hirst was a bit of a wierdo! I wish I hadn't looked, I used to have a dog very similar to the one in the picture.

The thing is I just don't get it, even if you ignore the obvious cruelty how is it art? I know artists like to be controversial but this is taking things just too far. We know that there are a few sick individuals in the world but when that sick individual is applauded instead of castigated it makes you wonder about humanity in general. In a different country this monster would be locked up and given extensive phychiatric treatment - which is more compassion than he deserves.

I don't understand why no-one intervened - surely everyone who visited the gallery can't have thought this was acceptable? Or is everyone in that part of the world as sick as he is?

I don't think you want to.

How in this day and age can that kind of thing be allowed!

I'd like to that
