Hi there, I use cage carpet, tis great stuff. My local store recommended it and the man that owns it has made loads of documentaries for the bbc on reptiles ad used to be a zoologist so I trust his recommendations.

things like cage carpets make a good soft landing, but they will need to be changed regularly as they can harbour bacteria, due to the soaking up of water and the poo/urate sits on it giving the nastys time to move in.

my babies have fell of their branches a few times, not so much this time, as I am more careful when opening the doors....they climb onto the doors, you open them and they fall off.....they always get up and climb straight back up the branches....
They are so light they don't have the weight to injure themselves I think, is why they were fine, but as they become older, they gain weight, and so damage themselves more easily....
plus sometimes the climb over each other in the viv, and drop from their branch, but separate in mid-air and just climb over each other onb their way bacck to the top again..... looks quite funny sometimes, and NO thats not me being cruel...i love them to bits, but it is funny to watch, and I've not had any fatalities out of the 46 hatched....

my floor is covered in kitchen roll, and cleaned out weekly, as it is quite difficult and disturbing to change it
