Default anoles

hey all,
im new to keeping and after looking about ive found that anoles are the best for bignners other than geckos lol

up to now i have an aquriam about 10 gallon is that eney good????

It depends on what you want to DO with a lizard whether anoles are better than geckos or other good beginner species.

If you want something you can hold occasonally, anoles are a bad choice. They're fragile, jumpy and VERY quick.

Anoles are great if you want display animals in a natural-looking tall enclosure. A ten-gallon aquarium probably won't give even one anole enough space to climb and move as they need to.

Ive kept green Anoles before and i can say that you need to keep them in an arboreal tank, the tall exo terras are the best, i had a breeding trio in one. They are not lizards you can handle, more like a look dont touch lizard, handling them stresses them out. Plus they only live about 5 years.

ok wat would be the best starter lizard that can be handled

Leopard Gecko, Bearded dragon(youll need a bigger tank).
That tank should be big enough for a baby leo.
