So other than snakes i'll assume that theres no animals that require pretty small vivs to be happy?

Would prefer a need for height over length if possible?

Crested gecko, gargoyle gecko, day geckos, anoles, uromastyx (smaller species), agama species......

There are a good few to choose from really. I would personally say crested gecko. They match your requirements pretty well - single adult needs 24x18x18 exo terra viv, lots of plants, crested gecko diet, spray at night and you are good to go - they don't even require an additional heat source if your room is relatively level on the temps.

I would only suggest a cham if you felt you had the time to establish a good routine with regular misting and such like. They are amazing animals and can be very rewarding to watch but not really for the feint hearted

Geckos with sticky pads on their feet! They like climbing so could do with a tall, rather than long viv. Look on the lizard wizard website for some ideas.

So would one of those automated misting systems not be okay?
