Default Last rep/amph - Honest... But what?

Hi guys, Well i've decided that i'll limit myself a bit and get 1 more animal and then no more but i'm still in a confused state as to which to get. I'm after something which:

Requires small housing (when i say small i mean something not +4ft.
Relatively easy to look after
Interesting/Quirky
Nice to look at
Relatively easy food requirements.

I'm looking at the following:

tortioses as they seem amazingly adorable and fascinating
Chams as they're beautiful to watch

Thats all MAINLY but i don't have what i could call a huge knowledge about all the different types of rep/amph out there so any other ideas most welcome thanks!

I'm a snake kinda man, so I can only recommend snakes I'm afraid :P

What about a BRB? I'm not sure what experience you have, but these are not too hard to keep with the right research done.

Can live in a 4ft tank when adult (4*2*2), grows to 5-7ft or so, but not chunky.

Food is just a mouse/rat a week or so.

Just have a look at my little baby, and tell him you dont like him!
