Default Pueblan Youngster first feed

I was advised by the shop to wait until Monday before feeding my snake for the first time, he has been in his viv since saturday, is this correct, or should i try to feed him now (pueblan milk snake)?

Need to dig to get him out of the substrate...

Yeh, I would wait. The longer you wait, the less stressed he will be, the more likely he will eat, and the less stressed you will be

No need to rush it... he's not going to starve any time soon!

EDIT: ok, didn't realise what day we were on... Saturday was ages ago. Yeh, if you wanna try him, can do. If he doesn't eat (which is unlikely) most you've done is wasted 50p or so.

Hi,

No probs, took these when i first got him. They are a bit blurry as they were taken using a video cam. Could not take any more today as he has been fed

He would not feed today, ignored the pinkie until i brained it and then he snaffled it whilst in the tank.

Thankyou for showing your lovely pueblan Sprocket, beautiful! And thankyou for you advice on the other thread, i thought it'd be bit too much with two snakes, the Corn can wait...it's the milksnake i loves most of all lol. Have you started off with a small viv for your Pueblan or have you bought one which will be suitable for him as an adult?
