Default Suitable for BD?

Dog Kennels, Rabbit Hutches, Dog Cages, Dog Houses, Fish Tanks | Reptile Vivariums & Terrariums | Pet Shop.

Does this seem like everything I would need for a baby BD? Prefer to buy the large one instead of the standard set up as I don't to be swapping in another year or so.

Or how long would this set up last in terms of the bd growing?

Dog Kennels, Rabbit Hutches, Dog Cages, Dog Houses, Fish Tanks | Reptile Vivariums & Terrariums | Pet Shop.

Is there anything in these that are not suitable cause I know people have some preferences regarding substrates etc?

Any help much appreciated. thanks

The first one would be fine if you upgraded it to a 4' x 2' rather than a 4' x 18".

You might want to ditch the heat mat to make it a bit cheaper unless your cage gets really cold at night. Sand isn't ideal for babies - paper towel is recommended - and the sand may or may not be suitable for adults, depending on whether it's regular sand or calci-sand.

To be perfectly honest, once you've made all of the swaps etc, it would probably work out cheaper to buy all the components yourself...

It is better to start with a 48" one yes, providing the othe rmeasurements were at least 24"x24" and will last the whole of the BD's life.
I think you could probably find everything cheaper though..

I have used the repi-sun 10 for a while now, and the reviews say it a bit better, so i would try and upgrade to that if you can, and like the previous post, i would ditch the heat mat. I also use a maze derrivative, completly digestable but looks a bit better that paper for when they are about 6 months, im not too sure about using sand!!

i bought all my things from ebay or on here and prob got set up for about 100.00 have only got a 3'x1'x2' high viv at the mo though while he is a baby, buyin bits seperate gives you more time looking round, researching and picking up tips etc so it is a good thing, as you dont want to rush out buy a set up and dragon and not be 100% on what to do

Yep, It's a necessity.

"Exo Terra Repti Glo 8.0" They stopped making these, didn't they?

It has everything you need for a basic setup. To be completely honest it's cheaper building a Vivarium and buying the components yourself (this is becoming more popular). I've saved a fortune in building Vivs instead of buying.
