most young leos are skitty, so its nothing your doing matey,

to tame a leo or any reptile, the best bit of advice i could give is to place your hand in the vivarium/tub whatever you keep him in and just leave it there for a while, this shows the reptile that your not a threat, and your not going to kill them,

after a while they get used to your hand being in there space, food bowl, water bowl, hides etc and they become comfortable with it, so they start to approach on there own,

a great tip is to hand feed, they start to recognise your hand with food, like wax worms or mealies, its like a bribe but it works, everytime they see your hand they think something juicy and tasty is coming so they come to you

Thats what i did to tame my male midnight bliz.
I just put my hand in his tub and eventually he walked over my hand.
He still doesnt like being grasped tho.
You just have to perservere.

thanks for the help i really appreciate it. The thing is im worried that he might bite me as i have seen the way he takes crickets from a set of tweezers and that bite i think would rather hurt.
thanks again spyro.

don't worry about a bite, at that age its all gums ha ha

Leo bites don't hurt, they make you jump but don't actually hurt, now a Tokay gecko is a different story, leather gloves all the way,

its going to take time but he will come around eventually, good luck matey
