Exclamation Can Someone Help With Retic Problems

HI i have a baby (small) reticulated python approx 4 ft and she has been fine all along but yesterday i found what looked like a massive balloon under her skin its really big about 5 inches long all her skin in one area has just inflated.
you can touch it and it feels just like a sack filled with air i have no idea how she got this or what it could be!!! And also just a bit further from this towards the tail are tears in her scales were sections of her scales have ripped off and are just hanging there.
She still seems the same 9temprement wise and feeding ) but i dont know what my best option is
can anyone help me
Thanks

In that case there is no other option but a trip to the vet. It could be something or nothing but always best to play safe.
Hope all is well.

Do we know what was wrong with it yet? Presumably an autopsy was done, even better, was a biopsy done before it died?
