Default Regurgitated meal

Was alarmed to see that my California King Snake had regurgitated his mouse that I fed yesterday sometime today
He ate his meal no problem. The mouse was well defrosted and looked fine and comes from a reliable supplier. Otherwise he is well (I think). He last fed 6 days before. He is about 14-18 months old (I think). His viv temps are fine (71F cool end, 84F warm end).
Should I do anything other than starve him for 7 days and try again?
Any advice or reassurance from you experienced keepers welcome!

Cheers.

let him rest, and don't feed him for at least another 7-10 days. Thats about all you can do if everything else was spot on. Sometimes these things just happen.

Happened with my hoggie a couple years ago (she was just about to shed so I put it down to that) I was also advised to feed a smaller meal than usual.

my 18 mth boa did it last weekend (was fed sun and sick tue!) he is still quite active but refused his feed this sunday. I think its the weather change affecting him because all his temps etc are right and he is acting like his normal self
