Definately. Especially with the weather getting warmer. The mat may 'only' go up to 90-95 but if the sun shines through the window then it can easily take it above 100. As someone has previously said....For the sake of £17-£20....It's just not worth it. It might only ever cut the mat out once from over heating but that once, you will be glad you bought one!

Also - I only have a small heatmat but it does get very hot very quickly!

Which Make Should I Buy......MicroClimate or Habistat...............................?

Your choice. They will both do the same job.

MicroClimate is Cheaper.

Habistat has a knob to adjust whereas MicroClimate you have to use a small screwdriver. This might be a pain for some but for others it is a Pro as it cannot be accidentally changed.
