i would recommend upgrading asap. in my experience corns are very active and i always make sure they have a tank as long as their body. i would say get a 3 foot then it will lat a while.

defenatly asak the viv should normally be 2 thirds the length of his body

as said, as soon as you can. the best to get now would be at least a 3 foot, or if you have room, maybe a 4 foot.
When you move up a size, make sure theres lots of hiding places so your corn still feels secure in its viv (even if its just cardboard boxes  )
