Default Advice

As we have had bad luck in picking Leos, was wondering if we could have some advice on the condition of these babies.
We have seen them and my missus fell in love (the woman who never wanted reptiles in the first place )

Also any morph info would be cool.

Cheers guys

They're all blizzards, and they look to be in good condition - not overweight, not thin.

They look in great condition.
The one thing i will say is not to let your other babies any where near the new ones not even in the same room.
Always wash hands in betwene handling cleaning out etc.
Make sure you have the all clear from guy with the others before you stop quarentining the new arivals as the germs can pass on very very easily

The sick ones have gone back to the breeder, as he has his own vet. We are getting weekly updates from him on their condition, and will get them back when they are healthy again. It seemed the best thing to do really.

Aww thats good news at least they took responsibility.
If your going to keep them in the same set up as what you had the others in everything that was in there needs disinfecting compleatly all in milton baby sterlising soultion watered down to the directions on the bottle.
Soak everything you can in the mixture and rinse very very well.
Dont soak the heat mat just wipe it over with a cloth dipped in the soultion.

Keep us up dated with the others please
And good luck with your new ones

Yeah, all the viv is being sterilised as we speak, I'm not risking anything.

Yeah I'm happy the breeder took responsibility, but it was hard handing them back (only had them a week, but still....).

It seems he has had a whole batch come down with the same thing, but didn't catch it early enough (ie before they went to the shops).

We demanded weekly updates to make sure treatment was happening though, and the shop has offered both these blizzards for free. Compensation I suppose you could call it.

Thank you for the support through this, we have learnt alot through this week.

Ah if they have come from the same shop your still going to need to be carefull id ask the shop if the blizzards have ever come in contact with the ones your brought from there before, because if the breeders whole collection has come down with the same thing it sounds like either e-coli or parasites or crypto either way thats not good.

Your more than welcome for the help wouldnt have it any other way
You know now your wife has the leo bug you wont be able to stop dont ya lol
