Depends where did you get them from.. Different size does not mean they are not from the same clutch. As for basking rock and mouth open that is normal behaviour just allows them to control their temperture.

Yes difference in size or colour does not mean they are not from the same clutch, you could do with knowing though because if they are male and female you will have to seperate when older so they don't breed if brother and sister, hope they are both female then they can stay together,if both male will have to seperate anyway.Nice beardies though.

Spoke to the breeder he told me there both from same clutch also told us 2 males can share same viv
the smaller of the 2 (boosh) looks like he has had his tail nipped by the bigger one (munch) theres a small bit about 4mm hanging off the tip they get enough food 3 times a day and fresh fruit and greens everyday too perhaps hes just a bully?? am i giving them enough?? eat about 8-10 medium crickets in 10-15 mins also cleaning them out every night just before lights out fresh kitchen roll clean there rocks and small few mm deep water do i need to clean it everynight ????? thanks in advance |

How old are they, they don't look old enough to be sure of sex yet, even if they are both male they don't look old enough to fight yet,do they have plenty of space to get away from each other, what size viv are they in,anyway the breeder is wrong if they are both male they will have to be seperated before they are adult 2 males can not be housed together.

I have 6 adult bearded dragons sharing one large vivarium, 3 males and 3 females, and they get along fine. In my experience, as long as they have plenty of space 2 males should get along okay. Also, in my experience, the damage to the tail is more likely to have been caused by a hungry cricket!

to cardiffdragon At 6 weeks they are too young to sex so guarenteeing 2 males is impossible. You seem to be doing everything right as they both look healthy etc, but it might be wise to divide the viv in half and house them seperately just to be safe. |
