A bit of insight into the Tatty Teddy Collectors Edition Costumed bears and their worldly values. My girlfriend was lucky enough to get one of the chrystal nosed bears (no. 36) which should go up in value over the next couple of years.

What is your reason for selling, as they all seem to be bears bought by your other half. This type of sale usually means he's out of the picture.

erm.........the limited edition ones i have bought myself thank you .............. the other bears are ones bought by my ex yes...........and what the hell has it got to do with you ?

im trying to sell my bears i know how much they are worth thank you i dont need your insight into things thank you anyways.................

most people cherish bears that have been bought by loved ones and not sell them hence my reason for questioning their sale..

Yes, you may know their value, but for anyone that has seen these in the shops and seen the £18 price tag will think they are paying well over the odds, not knowing that they are a limited edition and as such their value will increase with time.

There was no need to get rude. I was helping to shed some light onto the value of these bears as one of your posters was saying you were ripping them off charging £30. And seeing as almost 3 pages out of the 6 pages of posts were you just bumping, then I thought I would lend a hand seeing as I personally own one of the very first tatty teddies to be produced and also with a collection of over 500+ items including bears I would say i ahve a better insight into the resale value of these items.

And by the way you responded to my helpful posts I now know why you will go through boyfriends just as fast as you get tatty teddies.

Seeing as my helping you to get the best price for your bears has fallen on deaf ears I may as well let those wanting to buy the bears that people on the carte blanche forums will sell for less than the bears advertised on these pages. (execpt the personal ones which can be picked up on the sunday market these days).

And just one word of advice for you Emmaj, when reading a post don't flame till you know what you are on about.

I had an interest in trying to get you the best possible prices, and for your infprmation had got someone willing to pay £35 each for the Chicken and the Dog before I came on here today and read the flaming you posted.
