Im after some advice regarding keeping parrots.

If anyone on here keeps them would they mind if i pm'd them for some advice before perchasing?

I keep an African Grey, and have kept the following in the past -

lesser sulphur cockatoo
Blue & Gold Macaw
hahns macaw
Galah cockatoo
crimson pennants parakeet

Please tell me what you would like to know, if I can help I will.

I've got a African Grey, Red-lored Amazon and 2 x Black-masked love birds. PM if you want and I'll try to point you in the right direction.

I've got a max. pionus called Dizzy and a very Gobby African Grey called Ozzy!!!

He's launching grenades (well making to noises) as we speak and then chuckling to himself!!!!

my friend has a female moluccan cockatoo and a female eclectus. i baby-sit them all the time when he travels.... a handful the cockatoo is.

I had a hahns, sweetest little bird you could ever hope to own. it died after a month

Heed any advice given, i suppose what i can tell you from my mistakes it make sure you keep it in a draft free area and amke sure you scout out a proper avian vet before you get one. They're so sweet and freindly its very sad to watch them die.

Like Harry, I also breed & hand rear several species of parrots, I also run a parrot based forum where you can ask questiosn just like we all do on here - feel free to PM me
