a ferret Mustela Putorius Furo a European polecat is Mustela Putorius only small traces of the ferret come from the European polecat there is a few ways to tell the difference between a polecat coloured ferret (poley) and the European polecat the first is the ear colour on a Poley his ears will be light in colour, his nose will also be light or have dark patches, there jaw isn't as strong as on a E.Polecat te poley also has a more delicate bone structure compared to the E.polecat

A domesticated Poley

a European polecat
