Yeah, they are moving to a new house and sadly they aren't allowed any pets. He has also given away his Husky and German Shepard.

I felt for the guy....When he came in with the lead he never wanted to let them go

As for the bad press....I want to know where it has all come from. These two are so soft it is unreal. The male throws his own toy in the air and catches and and the female just wants to walk around licking our little one. The only 2 bad things I have found out is I was lied to about them being House Trained (woke up to poop in the living room) and the living room was also trashed

Rotty's will do anything to please an onwer, their loyal nature is why they will attack people on comand for some totally useles people

Others have been brought up in the wrong environment - they need to know who's boss thats all.

I love them - one of the most handsome dogs by far

i have a male rott 2 year old and he is a big soft lump.good luck with your 2.i would lock them out of any rooms you done want trashed through the night,my rott is not allowed upstairs and we have a gate stopping him but even if its left open he wont go up as he knows hes not allowed.mine can be a bit of a handfull as hes 9 stone and still thinks hes a puppy so i cant imagine trying to care for 2 but good luck to you and i hope it works out.

We already have a stair gate at the bottom of the stairs any way so they wont be going upstairs in a hurry. They did trash all downstairs, even ripped my little ones pillow up so had to go out and buy her another one today before she realises it's gone lol

It will take these two dogs a bit time to get used to your way of life and to a strange house, trashing your living room may be due to the fact they are missing there previous owners... and wondering what they are doing at you house, same for the surprise poop, no doubt once they settle and bond with you, the dogs will be fine.

Yeah I kinda gathered it was one of them "the stress of moving things" They're used to being locked up outside in the garden from 6:30am till around 7:30pm.....I for one aint the kinda person that can leave a dog outside for hours on end. I would rather take them on 3 to 5 walks a day than leave them outside in the garden. I think dogs being outside 12 ours a day defies the idea of them beiong family pets.

Always a reason for someone wanting rid!!!!!!!

Rarely is what they say the 'whole' truth.

How old are they as Rottie's often take a while to become accustomed to a new home.
Also they don't 'assert' themselves for a few weeks either so be careful with them for quite some time. I take it you know not to leave 'your little one' alone with them????

Just a few bits of advice.

Before anyone says anything about Rotties being 'lovely' dogs I know they are I've owned 8 over the years and I have an almost 4yr old rescue here.

I hope they are still lovely in a few weeks if they are then you got yourself a good deal. If not then it's up to you to deal with whatever problems arise. You've already come across two of them.

Okay I have come across the problem of them not liking the little one so they have to go.......If anyone can pick them up they can take them. I got told they would be ok with young kids (16 month) but they aint so they need to go. I aint sending them back to the same guy I got them from as I don;t want him lying to get rid of them and a little kid get biten by them.

EDIT - It's mainly the male that is a problem so if some one only wants the male they can take him.
