I'd recommend finding a good breed rescue to take them, they will appraise the dogs behaviour and training level before allowing them to be rehomed and you can rest assured they will fully disclose any behavioural problems and place the dog/s appropriately (ie. to someone with experience of defense breeds with no small children/other pets).

Please dont pass these dogs on to just anybody. Rotties are not a breed that can be passed from pillar to post without problems. Get in touch with a Rottweiler rescue since they specialise in the breed and can be worked with before going to a responsible new home.

I've worked with many Rotties over the years and lived with a few including my 9yr old rescue girl that is still here so know full well that these dogs in the wrong hands are an accident waiting to happen. You are already having problems within the first 24 hours so it isnt fair on the dogs or the potential new owner to be passing on the problem to someone else who doesnt understand the breed.

Get in touch with one of the rescues that Spirit975 mentioned and I'm sure they will get the ball rolling quickly since there is a child involved.

Best of luck and let us know how things go.

My heart goes out to these dogs, I really hope someone offers a home and gives them the life they deserve.

ooops......

Sorry just read the rest of the thread just saw the pic and wanted to reply.....

I hope you reslove the issue, the guys above have given you great advice!!! They will be in good hands in a rescue home and will be able to house them to an appropriate home cause they find out about the dogs nature before homing them. IMO I'd say keep them together cause if you get rid of just the male you don't know how the female will act once he is gone!!!

Good luck

I'm afraid you were a little too far for my friend.

I've seen that some one said to rehome together!!!
I would say the dog growling is probably in defence of the bitch.
I would rehome seperately.
If you really get stuck I would take either the dog or the bitch, or both, I'm very experienced in this particular breed.
It would take a bit of sorting out but I could do it at a push rather than have them PTS.

Pm me if you are totally stuck.
