Hey hun, glad to hear they are settling in, is Dak's neck still that bald? has he seen a vet for it? it doesn't look like just baldness from playing that is why I ask, I have two trains of thought for that one is he has had a mite from the hay/straw his previous owner kept him on (which I think is the most likely, one of my guinea pigs got it last year from untreated hay and it gives the same look as mange!!) ans second is a reaction to something you use i.e. washing powder on his bedding etc. that definately isn't just a fighting bald patch imo.

Ditch them gloves woman

I agree with the witch hazel, i breed ferrets every year, and another great way to stop your ferrets from nipping is to buy a tin of Badger balm from boots. They do different ones and all the ingredients are organic, and if you rub some on on your hands, they stop the nibbling.
