Default help with dog cage

after a cage for my border collie any idea what size or the best way to measure him up was going to get a 48in one but a mate of mine says its too big as the more room he has the more chance of him peeing and cxxxing in it he is 2 year old any help please darren

whats the cage for? they must be able to have room to stand up turn around and comfertabley eat and drink

Id say a border collie


A 3 footer should be fine Daz.

I think you will find the question meant for what purpose did they want the cage lol. I would say 48 inches is the right size for a Border Collie. We use the 5 ft for a GSD. You just have to be careful how long you keep them in it as the frustration of lack of stimulation can send them more loony than usual.

cheers mark its just to keep him in overnight till i get him back house trained he used to be but i have had him outside with the old dog since last summer and want him back in but couple of times ive tried hes just cocked his leg during the night

cheers not going to keep him in during the day just at night when we go to bed
