Default rats

well i've got a 10 month old female husky rat, and i bought a 10 week old female today. I put them together in a cleaned out cage and they got on fine, had a sniff of eachother. Then i put them in a bigger cage cleaned out aswell, and they had 2 little scraps. They was just rolling around having a bit of nibbles, is this normal. Will they actually come to like eachother?

Playfighting is totally normal behaviour. They will likely also be sorting out dominance within the cage. The general accepted rule is that if there is no blood drawn, then all is ok

there getting on great now. They stay at either ends of the cage. When i get themn out they run around together and sniff each other so all is going well. I've got another cage setup just in case.
