Default ferret temp help please ?

ok so im hopefully moving smudge indoors into my room and was wondering what temp is to hot for him ?

he well be in a standard 3-4 tier large cage with water and food available whenever he likes.

im asking as my room sometimes gets rather warm and i dont want him to overheat or dehydrate

I wouldn't of thought ferrets need hot temps. I'm not a ferret keeper myself. Can you turn your radiator down in your room? Just keep the temp to normal house temps and it should be fine. Just keep an eye on the water.

as long as they have somewhere cool to lay down you will be fine, you can get small marble slabs in the pet shops for chinchillas, and they are ace. I use them in my hutches and in summer they lay on them.
They cost about £5
