Glad to hear she's not!! (awful man and awful place! but a bit Off Topic) - i asked as Greyhound Gap get a lot of Hancock rejects when he refuses to take them back!
Check out Emma's pm, i can always also help if you want to go down the Rescue route with her to ensure another good home, she'd be spayed and have rescue back up for the rest of her life. i've just boarded and moved a rather huge/bouncy bull x greyhound lurcher for someone needing to get rid - yes, they used that term to a brilliant rescue and he's doing really well. Good luck with whatever you decide for her and if you need a hand give me a shout. She sounds lovely ![]()

We have got a nutball Collie as well. He does all the usual Collie stuff, follow you to the bathroom, hides all my socks if they're not in the drawer, barks at shadows, barks at boats, tries to catch birds that are flying twenty feet above him but its all good.
He's the most affectionate yet protective dog i've ever had. Great with the baby, has been since the baby arrived home ten months ago, also great with all other kids and other dogs apart from other Collies who he loathes. The thing i have learnt with Collies, is that wit their superior intelligence it does seem to make them super sensitive and crave affection and bonding from their master. Now this can go wrong, if they get to much affection as they will sometimes tend to think they are then the alpha and demand affection and your attention at all times. With our boy he firmly knows his place, he's at the bottom of the chain behind me my wife and the baby. Only once have i had to really put him back in his place. He growled and snapped at my nephew, i grab Oscar by the scruff throw him onto his back and held him by the throat until he stopped struggling. He disappeared into his kennel and i never seen him for two days. When i did eventually see him again he came up to me, fell at feet and rolled onto his back. Since then he's been brilliant and knows that aggression won't be tolerated. Back to your original question. Theres tonnes of Collies around, some are super confident, some are as paranoid and crazy as George Bush. I just think its a Collie trait, they're as mad as a bag of cats Some pics of the strange one, Oscar, two years old this July ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
