bless, i'm sure everything will go fine. I was bricking it when i had my dog done!
i even stayed with him for his pre-med and he fell asleep in my arms, then had to carry the fat lump to the cage... He's nervous and is terrified of people so had no choice really, but all went fine.

Good luck, I'm sure everything will be fine!
At least with females everything should be straightforward, when I had my two Havana X boys neutered, I knew something was up when the nurse came to have a chat with me before she brought them out. She explained that one of them had only one testicle descended, so they'd had to open him up to fish it out or it may have led to cancer. The funniest thing was the bloke sitting next to me swiftly crossed his legs at the mere mention!! Wish I'd clocked the look on his face!!

I worked at a vets for quite some time and saw at least 5 male cat neuters on a daily basis none of them went wrong and it actually only takes a few moments and is so simple our vet nurse used to do it on a regular basis.

I won't say don't worry either, because I know that you will, but I'm sure everything will go fine!
As has already been said modern anaesthetics are so much improved now making it much safer for all our animals. They'll come home and be over it in days - a lot quicker than us humans!!! Interesting bit that about the 2 being dumped at your vets! Why do people do that! ![]() Fingers crossed for you.

Try not to worry! Its a pretty routine procedure and your little girls should be in and out of theatre within 30 mins. You'l not think they'd had a major organ removed by the time you get them home!!!
We probably do an average of 6-8 cat spays a week so Im sure your vet will have a good idea of what they're doing!! |

Ive just had my puppy spayed and the next day she was leaping round like a loony. Keep her quiet the vets said. Very funny I would of had to tie her down. Your 2 will be fine Im sure. You are doing the right thing
