mum is trying to get out but im being strict with her, dont want any more kittens.

That's a shame - sorry to hear it, but as long as the rest and mother are OK, that's really what matters, sadly you can't do anything about the 2 that died, apart from feel sorry.

awww poor babies it could have been fading kitten syndrome this ive seen happen upto 12days, you can try everything but it wont delay the inevitable, theres no real known cause for it, its just a bit like cot death in babies.
My last litter of Persians i had 2 die they were stunners aswel the boy i think would have done well at the shows

Actually as a pedigree breeder I'm surprised that you don't know that there is one known cause for fading kittens. Research was carried out in the early 1990s that proved that one of the main causes was blood incompatibility, in other words the kittens blood doesn't match the mother's so the antibodies in the mother's milk destroy the red blood cells and the kittens die from anaemia. It is most common problem in British and the Rex breeds, but it's also quite common in Persians.

There was a big shift in the cat breeding world to have breeding cats bloody typed in the 1990s to find out who were Type B.

Have you had your queen blood typed ?

When I used to breed Siamese I had a litter of 6 kittens Sadly over 3 days I lost 4 of them. They just stopped feeding, grew weaker and weaker then died even intervention by a vet didnt help. I was devastated but thankfully it never happened again.

Agh, Siamese, don't talk to me about Siamese breeding!!!

Siamese just don't seem to fight when they are ill - they definitely suffer from "leave me alone to die" syndrome when they are ill.

I know someone who bred Siamese many years ago and she said when she had sick kittens they inevitably died, but when she went into breeding British, sick kittens fought back and she never lost one!

They're definitely a breed apart!!
