I used to live near a riding for the disabled centre. Vandals got it the field one evening, caught a pony and made a makeshift 'bridle' out of rope and rode the terrified thing around the adjcent fields. They managed to open the gate which let all the other horses out too. One was killed on the railway close by. The pony was too terrified to be ridden for a long while afterwards.

A couple of months later horses in the same field 4 horses were slashed on the rump several times each and left bleeding for hours over night.

Its senseless and downright creulty and a lack of respect for living things. I understand how you feel.

The people who committed this appalling crime, will at some point in their sick life...be paid back...you cant go through life doing things like this and get away with it.

i have found traveler children riding my horses before (no longer own horses now and not saying travellers are all bad)

to be told by them its allowed what ever lol also where i use to work someone cut padlocks and let a breeding herd of 10 mares and a stallion out most mares had foals at foot and we lost 3 mares that where about to drop being hit by cars and lorry one mare was still at full pelt with her insides hanging out and had to be pinned down by lots of people before the vet arrived to put her out her pain
