Default Ducks! Black East Indie & Apricot Runner

On Friday I got a pair of Black East Indie Bantam Ducks with 7 ducklings that came all the way from Scotland. They are stunning. Called the male 'Seth Green' not named the others yet, mum is just Mrs Green lol

Then on Saturday I went over to Tom's (Chickens4ever) and picked up a pair of Apricot Runner Ducks. They are great, really friendly and we love seeing them running up and down the lawn.

and I also got on Thursday, a pair of Collared Doves.

WOW, really nice. Kept ducks for a while due to rescue. I had Ailsburys, runners but my love was the little Mandarins. I had the male in full plumage, just stunning. I dontated a bonded pair to Dublin Zoo who had not had a pair on the lake for almost 20years so everyone was happy. I love the little ducklings. Why do most of you guys live in UK I think I may have to move

Been looking for a pair of Mandarins myself lol Never seems to be any this side of the country, all seem to be in Kent lol
Had 6 Stanbridge White Ducks Hatch Yesterday, Over the moon as they are to be part of the breeding program that I am now part of. I have some more Styanbridge white due at the end of the month aswell.

The Collared Dove (Java if white) seen some advertised on birdtrek.co.uk - Home . Seem to be mainly wanted adverts tho.

These 2 I saved from the dogs and magpies. They were a bit thin and weak aswell. They can now both fly and have been eating like pigs. My mum saw them for the first time yesterday and she wanted them straight away.
