they are bloody big hamsters!! what breed are they? i have only ever kept syrian and russian

Nice to see hamsters people actually bother with, you would not believe the amount of 'childrens' hamsters we get called about. I'm sure you all know the type, oh we got it for the kids but they lost interest like two mins after we got it home and it sits in it's tiny pet store recommended cage going nuts for the past year. We always seem to get them about 1 for some reason but yours are really really nice and obviously well looked after. Congrats

They look cool and very cute. Are they all syrian? Have you ever kept any of the smaller breeds, i really like the chinese!

hey guys
im not sure on pepper's breed
as im just getting into the identifying of breeds but id imagine she could be
the other pair are most definitely

also had 5 in today
one of which is definitely syrian but not sure on the other 4
imagine so
just difficult to tell

all 8 of our hamsters are big buggers !!

we dont over feed but they're well fed if that makes sense

I to am a self confessed hamster addict, but i've only ever been aloowed one at a time however that was broken en i got given lovely lil girly ^_^

my male is called santa the girl flopsy *didnt bother changing her name lol*

cant wait to hear what you call them the one that was in the cage with red base the white one with ginger spots on back was called berbatov but the others never got names but they are fatties the large female dont mind being picked up but berbatov does flips lol

lady who i brought her off was over run with them cause kids thought it was a good money making scheme shame on her for letting them and what gets me is i had to pick her up out of the tank as they were too scared to touch them!!

im sure they will love being at yours
