Default Garden snails...

Hi. Im breeding garden snails for my bosc to eat as he is only little. Will move onto GALs in a few months

So, i have my snails in a plastic tank, i have bred them before but i have decided on a new way to do it.

Last time, i kept them on soil, but, would they still breed and be ok if i kept them on damp kitchen roll, with a small tub of play sand of which to lay in?

Also, is a 2'x1'x1' too small for an adult pair of GALs? Ifso, what is the minimum?

Taa, also, does anyone know of a website of which i can order my GALs?

i wouldnt breed garden snails, you dont know were they have been, if thy have been in contact with poison etc, i would just go for the gals, they are very easy to keep, and that size is fine for them. would probably take garden snails a lot longer to get to a feedable size aswell. and i would put a wanted add on here, millions of people have them

Hi, if i feed boscy the offspring, it doesnt matter if the adults have eaten poison, think about it. The poison wont be passed on in their genes!

toxins can be passed as far as I am aware, I too read something a while back but that would be the least of my worries. The parasites snails can carry are unreal (as I am sure you know as you seem to have knowledge on them) . I would get a pair or trio of GAL and go from there. Your prob better off in the long run, better to be safe............
