So sorry for your loss, just read your whole thread and i'm a mess.... I think reading things like this touch a nerve with everyone who has or does own a dog. l have a little Cavvy who after being given 6 months to a year max, has reached 2 years and 3 months, but I know time is running out now.....
Athough nothing anyone can say can really make you feel any better, at least it will hopefully remind you that things do get better with time.
Sounds like Ginny had a happy, long life! Rest in Peace Ginny.

I don't think it matters how many pets you have, they are all different and all touch you in different ways, so when you lose one there will be something missing. I know tonight is going to be hard for you and getting up tomorrow and her not being there is going to be hard too!!

Hope you're OK.

So sorry for your loss, I know words won't even come close to easing the pain. But that is one good age for a GSD, she msut have been very well looked after, and knowing when shes had enough and to let her go, well that shows how much you loved her.

Thoughts are with you

So Sorry for you, love. We have just lost our old BSH cat. My kids cannot remember life without him and miss him sooo much despite the other 4 cats and a collection of other animals. Take care x x x

Default So Sorry for your loss

This post has brought back memories, my dearest friend in the world had to be put to sleep 1 1/2 years ago, a beagle crossbred called dolly. I welled with tears when reading these posts and agree it is the most difficult part of ownership of a animal, our dog had cancer and arthritis and we gave her 2 years of really good treatment after getting her from dogs trust.

I am sorry for your loss, remember she is at peace now...
