do pet rats have Hantaviruses?
as title says really? am wondering if per rats carry this dieases? Also if not do they carry any others??

No, a pet rat is not likely to have Hantavirus; yes, they CAN carry other viruses.

Not so many are common in well-kept pet rats.
You can get salmonella from them, however.
