ysy i'm glad you brought th kitty home. sounds like he's going to be a bit of challenge, but maybe it's just what you need to keep you occupied.

This is the best pic I can get without upsetting him - He is currently living behind the telly and hasn't eaten/drunk or been to the toilet yet poor boy I just want to hug him sooo much. Mille would have thought he was a proper plonker. As you can see he has some serious bog eyes

I'm trying to work out what you mean by "bog eyes"??

He looks gorgeous, but if he is so scared then you are doing the right thing to leave him to come around at his own pace, which I'm certainly he will do eventually. It seems reasonably obvious to me that he hasn't been socialised properly as a kitten, as this behaviour is so unlike 'normal' oriental behaviour in a well socialised kitten.

I don't suppose you got his pedigree when you got him - I'd love to know the breeding behind him.

He has a squint, thats why he was free - the breeder didn't want to sell an 'imperfect' cat.

Well a squint isn't 'desirable', but it is an inheritance from their Siamese ancestors who regularly had squints!

I would never see a squint as making an imperfect cat!!

Great that he's eating! He'll be using his litter tray soon - it's amazing how long a cat can hold it in!!!
