Default gals breeding size?

ive just brought some giant african land snails theyre about 2inches at what size will they start breeding ?
ive got three and have them in a 2.5ft tank is that big enough?

sorry cant help on the breeding part but yeah that wayyyy more than big enough

Mine are in a 2 foot too, should start breeding when they hit about 3/4 inchs, however some do start before. Enjoy the first batch....you will be freezing the rest.

i've got a 3foot tanke for mine, they look a bit lost in it now but when they get bigger, they'll fil it lol.

if you want them to breed, keep the tank humid and put substrate in pretty deep. they bury the eggs. mine are the size to breed, have been for a while.

it sounds wrong but ill be feeding the babies to my bosc when theyre a few weeks old its a good natural food for boscs

Its what i plan for too. But you will still end up freezing some, 150 babies each x 3. 450 each time and they cant be used as staples.

bloody hell i didnt relise they have that many i probely will be freezing them then
does any one know how long it takes the babies to get about an inch ?
