why dose my beardie like laying in the water bowl so much when i thought they where more suited to hot dry weather i should mention that they are greedy sods who are well feed of crickets and greens they have a very cosy heat rock uv lighting ect but when it comes to chilling out they go and lay in there water bowl and they also like to poo in there aswell ?

Id get a mod to move this to the lizard section

Sibes are not a replacement for children they are much much more important than that!

some just like to lay in the water not every lizard is the same

i would be very careful too with the heat rock they have done alot of damage to reptiles over the years nasty burns

not to be used with beardies at all are heat rocks.
