Well.. found a little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel finally, been in touch with his owner and we're going to see him tomorrow and take him to his new home (As long as he's healthy and as advertised)
He's an 11 month old boy called Harvey.
He's an early birthday present for my Niece who turns 2 in 4 weeks

because............birthday an xmas pressie are things that kids get bored of...........even adults too

and its the i want a this an i want a that...............that then ends up not being wanted and put in a rescue or rehomed

there are so many ads on animals stating they were bought for a child for this that and the other and they are now bored of them so need a new home

im sorry to dampen your excitement but when you have been at the recieving end of taking in animals because of this ya tend to get my attitude towards buying kids animals as pressies

I wouldn't buy an animal for somebody if they didn't want it though, I'm responsible..

My Sister had a Cav just like Harvey but he died 18 months ago. They now feel ready to have another and Keira loved him, so what better opportunity to get one for them..

Can assure you that my Sister, Her Husband and my Niece aren't scummy and would never get bored of an animal.. I wouldn't think about buying them one if they were
This will be their only animal and he will have their full attention and they live right next door to a huge field where he can be walked.

Not that I needed to justify all that lol.

Where did you manage to locate one then?? Must admit most of my Pedigree pets have been presents including Elvis the APH. At the sanctuary we refuse to let people adopt for a present unless we meet the recipient and they can convince us they really want a pet

He's in Telford The lady selling him has 6 kids and is pregnant or something so no time for a doggy.
He's crate trained and will come with a crate but my Sister thinks crates are cruel lol so he will no doubt sleep in their bed.
