Default marmoset monkeys

Someone has put one for sale on my forum. A few members arnt happy.

Is there anything wrong with selling a monkey? the advert reads

Baby Common Marmoset for sale
14 weeks old, we think its a male,
Ideally to go as a companion for other Common Marmoset,
Prospective buyers will be vetted,

sounds like an ad that was put on here but they thought it was female

parent raised there is a thread in the exotic section that rory started on it

as its wrong to let a parent raised primate to go at such a young age

so people do have a right not to be happy at the advert

Marmosets are specialist primates, and take alot of time and care - even then they dont make good pets. This could be the reason?

No worries

im in no way against keeping primates or know diddly squat about them but

when rory and nerys say that the monkey is too young then i for one believe them as i would rather trust their word on such specialist breed than anyone elses
