Awwww! Well if he isnt the cutest ball of fluff I ever did see!
Bathing my cats has always been a challenge, but thats nothing compared to bathing one of my rats! Basil wants to swim and play in the water (moans if you take him out!) and Rimmer cries and cries so I bath him as quickly as possible and get whoever's around to cuddle him in a towel while I bath Basil and battle to get him out of the bath![]() |

Not all cats run away when you move. We take all ours on holiday with us and when we just had the 3 boys and they were allowed out, they went out and had their freedom on holiday and came back! I think it depends on the relationship you have with your cats - I always felt our cats loved being with us, not in their 'territory' so wherever we were, they were happy!
Although we have our garden cat proofed and they have freedom to roam there (only when we are in, never when we are out), I don't think they see that as freedom, it's just an 'extra room' to them! When we go away on holiday they spend 3 weeks trapped in a strange house and can't go outside, but they behave exactly the same as at home and don't seem to miss being outside at all.

Blackrose your cats are stunning
Made me really miss my kitty when I saw your little devils It doesn't feel right not having a cat around the house (I never see the ones upstairs and they're moving away on thursday anyway). First things first though, need to get the house deflead Don't think they've ever deflead theirs and cat flea bites make me itchy and give me big red lumps Pandora (kitty who lives with parents) moved to a new house with us and she's never run away since, she prefers it there because all she has to do is hop over the wall over the road and theres a forest path where she likes to catch mice and shrews and things |

My Somalis and Siamese play fetch too - it really depends on the individual cat, although some breeds are more inclined to fetch than others, most do.
In my experience the best plaything is a long leather shoelace, the sort you use in boots. All my cats love them to bits and when I had kittens they would be running around dragging this long shoelace behind them being chased by all the rest! Roscoe, one of my Somalis, favourite toy was a tightly knotted plastic carrier bag. he would fetch them back to you forever!

...ALL THE TIME!! its to say look at me, its to say she likes it when you smooth her. i dont like it when shd licks my feet when im walking tho. and she follows me to the bathroom. must sit there watching me! try going to the loo while shes in the tray..the look she gives! expect alot of cat litter mind, which can be expensive plus any medical bills. if you get a male and female obviously get them done but if you have a male get him dond anyway wether u have a female or not cos it reduces the want ...

It's very important that you spey your female as well as your male. Female cats are very prone to Pyometra if they aren't bred from. Cats physiology is different to other animals and they don't ovulate until they are mated, which means if they come into season and aren't mated, they'll keep coming into season until they are! Therefore there is a higher risk of pyos in the womb. If you get an 'open' pyo you will see a discharge and be alerted, if you get a 'closed' pyo, then the womb seals and the infection stays inside. By the time you realise there's something wrong, 9 times out of 10 it's too late and the cat dies.
