No I didn't bath him when i put the stuff on, I'm not as silly as i make out to be.

I've had cat's for a good 10 years now so I kinda know how to flea him xD
Just I've never had this problem before. Frontline is really good but like I said, a few days after I flea'd him with it he got flea's and now I'm having to brush and bath him when I can.
If you bought the spray over the counter, then I doubt it will have. As I said earlier, products like Frontline are pom for that reason. Stuff that sells over the counter is not as strong because it's an over-the-counter medicine that can be bought by anyone without advice.

I'm more than baffled by the fact that you sprayed the cat with Frontline and he was carrying fleas so quickly afterwards as it stays in the coat and carries on working for ages. Certainly if you saw fleas on him 2 days later the Frontline in the coat would have killed them whether they were alive when you saw them or not.

Years ago I was looking after a friends' house plants while they were on holiday and the owner of the cattery (a personal friend of us both) where there cats were, rang me to say that the cats had fleas and as she knew I had a key I could go in and spray the house before the cats came home, which I did. Unfortunately I must have then carried a flea home to my house and 2 months later I had a terrible infestation, presumably the flea laid eggs which went through the cycle and eventually a load of fleas hatched out onto my cats. I Frontlined every cat and Acclaimed the house and I've never seen a flea since.

Years ago I went to a veterinary symposium and one of the talks was on fleas. The vet giving the talk said you could get rid of fleas without even spraying the cat, because by spraying the house you stop the fleas developing - although of course that doesn't stop the cats continually picking up fleas!!! His recommendation was hoover the house and furniture and spray with the Malathian based household spray. Empty the hoover bag (obviously) and give a spray inside there. Leave the house for a week and do it all again and your house is protected for months.

i miss that lil fella i found him in a box at the back of a warehouse with his dead brothers and sisters (evil 's !)

we took him to get checked out and the vet wanted him to be put down, so i said is he in pain? vet said no he just wont be very cat like and will need lots of care, so i took him home, had to.
If you can imagine a cat with downs syndrome, thats pretty much what he looked like, he was never able to grow to full cat size, so for all his life he was the size of a kitten, black with white socks and nose, with a massive head and eyes looking at everything with awe and wonder.
He loved his food lol, he used to belly flop onto it so my other cats couldnt get it!

sorry to hijack ur thread a bit, i just wanted to write bout the lil fella i miss him loads

dig the hair btw
