Default Does yours do this?

Our little JRT, Bindi, who was 6 months yesterday has adopted our nice posh Next fluffy cushion's.

Not always, but sometimes when she can get away with sleeping on the sofa, she'll suckle the fluffly cushion and almost knead the cushion like she's suckling.

She will fall asleep this way. Its the most cutest thing to see, i guess it's like babies and toddlers with dummies or thumbs.

I just wonder if she'll grow out of it!

I'll have to give her a cushion and buy un-fluffy ones for the couch now!

How old was she when removed from her mother and littermates? That tends to be a sign that she was removed too early.

She was about 6 weeks old when we got her.
Oh no i feel really guilty now
She seems really happy and settled in very, very well. She such a good little girl, will she grow out of it, or will this be something she'll do forever?

I feel real guilty now!

She may very well do it always... It's a wait and see sort of thing.

About 6 weeks could mean 5 and a bit weeks?
I can never understand why people get such very young babies, much too young to leave mum. I can never understand why any caring breeder wants to get rid of babies too young unless they want a quick profit. Surely there is enough info out there which says pups shouldn't leave the mother before they are 8 weeks old minimum?

Our JRT pup never left his mum until he was 11 weeks old and he does this also. He is still only 14 weeks though but has settled incredibly well - already house trained (partially so when he arrived), follows basic commands sich as sit, leave etc etc and is all round a superb little chap - I think his nuzzling is cute he even does it on my hubbys tummy
