i think its slightly nuerotic.... it dosnt like my hand anywhere near it but then i guess that is to be expected as it was kept in a garage on its own for a while. i bought it a mirror yesterday and its very busy talking to itself at the moment. anyone have any experience with budgies? i would really like to finger train him so he can fly round the room but i dont think he is a young bird....is it still possible?

it make take a LONG time. My nana has always had birds, i would try firstlly to get it to sit near you when its in the cage, offer it some dried bananna's.

They also like the bird treat sticks you can get in pet shops, has he got a name yet?

how about tweety !
