I used to have about 200+ chickens for meat eggs and showing.....
Im getting some more soon for eggs and meat (I kept my silkies pekins, polands..) Silkies are a great breed they are only small but great broodys and lay an egg about once every two days. They look great in gardens aswell as the fact they cant fly very high! This is a great site PekinBantams.com :: Index |

I'd be careful. Theres a law about keeping poultry a certain distance from surrounding neighbors. If your neighbors dont like you either they could get you back with the stink by complaining, and you may be forced to get rid of the chickens. You'd have to look that one up, but there are some sort of laws and terms or something about poultry keeping. I heard it from a keeper where i work. |
